Who/When/Where/Why


  • Who 
    • The Lost Boys of Sudan is a name given to over 20,000 boys in the Neur and Dinka groups, about 2.5 million were killed and millions displaced.

  • When
    • 1983-2005

  • Where
    • In 1987 over 20,000 fled from homes and villages to Kakuma which is a refugee camp in Kenya but now most of them live in America.

  • Why
    • All of these boys were in great danger and fled for their lives during Islam rule in Sudan and second Sudanese civil war.
