Timeline

1972
Addis Ababa agreement signed-
The Addis Ababa agreement was a treaty made to end the first Sudanese civil war, which lasted from 1955-1972. They were incorporated by the Constitution of Sudan.

1983
War in Sudan
The second civil war was between the people of North and South Sudan, 1983-2005. The central government of Sudan People's Liberation Army. Basically a continuation of the first civil war.

1983-1988
Boys had to flee their villages
The boys had to flee because they were always under a threat.

1983
Islam Force
Christianity was more popular in North Sudan but it was always a struggle for islam to get more followers.

1991
Boys enter Kakuma
The boys enter Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya. Almost 26,000 boys were forced by violence to leave.

2001
Boys start new life in America
Very hard for boys to start a new life. Many were put in foster care and the older had to start jobs. 

2005
Civil war ends
Peace broker came-about and stopped second civil war of Sudan.

2011
Sudan splits
South Sudan gains independence, as an outcome of long going Sudanese civil wars.
